Day 01 : Arrival at Arusha – Gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Circuit
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha, a peaceful city nestled at the base of Mount Meru and a hub for safari adventurers. The rest of the day is free to relax after your journey. If time allows, you may explore Arusha’s local markets, visit the Cultural Heritage Centre, or simply enjoy the scenic views of the lush surroundings. Overnight stay in Arusha.
Day 02 : Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater via Scenic Countryside (Approx. 190 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The drive takes you through the stunning Great Rift Valley and the highlands dotted with Maasai villages. Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim in time for lunch. In the afternoon, relax and soak in the panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater – the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera and home to Africa’s densest concentration of wildlife. Overnight stay near the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 03 : Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – The African Eden
Today, enjoy a full-day safari experience within the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Descend 600 meters into the crater for a thrilling wildlife drive among lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, and more – all in a compact, diverse ecosystem. Don't miss spotting the elusive black rhino and flocks of flamingos by Lake Magadi. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater. Return to the lodge by evening for relaxation and dinner. Overnight stay near the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 04 : Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park (Approx. 145 km / 3.5–4 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. En route, stop at Olduvai Gorge, an important paleoanthropological site often referred to as the "Cradle of Mankind." Continue your journey into the vast golden plains of Serengeti, home to the Great Wildebeest Migration. Arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to spot cheetahs, lions, elephants, and herds of grazing animals. Witness a spectacular sunset over the savannah. Overnight stay in Serengeti.
Day 05 : Full-Day Safari in Serengeti – Big Five and Beyond
Spend the entire day exploring the wonders of the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras cross the plains in search of greener pastures – a breathtaking sight. Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives through different regions of the park. Keep an eye out for leopards lounging on acacia branches, elephants by the riverbanks, and the ever-alert lion prides. Optional: You may choose to enjoy a hot air balloon safari (at extra cost) for a bird’s eye view of the Serengeti. Overnight stay in Serengeti.
Day 06 : Serengeti to Arusha – Departure
After breakfast and a short morning game drive (optional), you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha (or drive, depending on the package). Upon arrival in Arusha, enjoy a farewell lunch before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. Depart with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s majestic landscapes and legendary wildlife.
