Day 1 : Arrival in Taipei – City Orientation & Night Market Experience
Upon arrival at Taiwan, land at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and proceed to Taipei (approx. 40 km / 45 minutes drive). After hotel check-in and some relaxation, begin your Taiwan journey with a city orientation tour. Visit the iconic Taipei 101 for panoramic city views and explore the cultural landmark Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, known for its grand architecture and historical significance. Later, stroll through the vibrant Ximending area for shopping and street performances. In the evening, enjoy local Taiwanese delicacies at the famous Shilin Night Market. Overnight stay in Taipei.
Day 2 : Taipei Sightseeing – Yehliu, Jiufen & Shifen Exploration
After breakfast, embark on a full-day scenic excursion covering approx. 80–100 km (2–3 hours total travel). Start with a visit to Yehliu Geopark, famous for its unique rock formations including the Queen’s Head. Continue towards the charming hillside village of Jiufen, known for its lantern-lit streets, tea houses, and stunning ocean views. Proceed to Shifen Waterfall, often called the “Niagara Falls of Taiwan,” followed by a visit to Shifen Old Street where you can release sky lanterns on the railway track. Return to Taipei in the evening (approx. 40 km / 1 hour). Overnight stay in Taipei.
Day 3 : Taipei – Sun Moon Lake Scenic Transfer
Post breakfast, check out and travel towards Sun Moon Lake, located in central Taiwan (approx. 250 km / 4–5 hours drive). En route, enjoy picturesque countryside views and mountainous landscapes. Upon arrival, explore key attractions including Wenwu Temple, dedicated to Confucius and the God of War, and visit the serene Xuanzang Temple. You may also take a relaxing boat ride on the lake (optional) to enjoy its tranquil beauty. Check-in at your hotel near Sun Moon Lake and unwind amidst nature. Overnight stay at Sun Moon Lake.
Day 4 : Sun Moon Lake – Taichung – Return to Taipei
After breakfast, proceed towards Taichung (approx. 80 km / 1.5 hours drive). Visit the colorful and artistic Rainbow Village, a must-see attraction filled with vibrant murals. Later, explore the bustling Fengjia Night Market (if time permits) for local shopping and street food. Continue your journey back to Taipei (approx. 170 km / 2–3 hours drive). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Taipei.
Day 5 : Departure from Taipei
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (approx. 40 km / 45 minutes drive) for your onward journey. Your memorable Taiwan tour concludes with beautiful experiences of cultural landmarks, scenic landscapes, and vibrant city life.
