Day 01 : Arrival in Bucharest & Orientation
Welcome to Romania! Upon your arrival at Henri Coand? International Airport in Bucharest, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some rest, enjoy a guided orientation tour of Bucharest, the vibrant capital city. Drive past major landmarks like University Square, the Romanian Athenaeum, and Revolution Square, before stopping at the massive Palace of the Parliament, the second-largest administrative building in the world. In the evening, explore the charming Old Town (Lipscani District) — known for its cobbled lanes, buzzing cafés, and lively atmosphere. Overnight in Bucharest.
Day 02 : Bucegi Mountains – Nature Escape
After breakfast, depart Bucharest and journey toward the Bucegi Mountains, part of the Southern Carpathians. Upon reaching the mountain town of Bu?teni, take the cable car up to the Bucegi Plateau, where nature and mystery combine. Here you’ll find two iconic rock formations: the Sphinx of Bucegi and Babele, shaped by centuries of wind erosion and surrounded by legends. Take in sweeping views, enjoy easy hikes, and breathe the crisp mountain air. Optional visit to the nearby Caraiman Monastery, nestled among the forested slopes. After a day of alpine exploration, check in to your hotel in Sinaia or Bran. Overnight in the mountains.
Day 03 : Dracula Trail – Bran Castle & Z?rne?ti Bears
This morning, step into the world of myth and mystery with a visit to Bran Castle, famously associated with Count Dracula. Tour its dramatic towers, stone staircases, and royal chambers, learning the real and fictional stories behind this national icon. Later, drive a short distance to Z?rne?ti Bear Sanctuary, a rescue center that houses over 100 bears saved from captivity. Walk along specially designed trails to observe the bears in a natural forest environment and hear the inspiring stories behind their rehabilitation. Enjoy lunch at a local mountain inn. Continue to the beautiful city of Bra?ov. Overnight stay in Bra?ov.
Day 04 : Bra?ov Old Town & Mount Tampa
Begin your day with a walking tour of Bra?ov Old Town, one of Romania’s most charming medieval cities. Visit Council Square (Pia?a Sfatului), the imposing Black Church — the largest Gothic church between Vienna and Istanbul — and see Rope Street (Strada Sforii), one of the narrowest streets in Europe. Later, take the Tampa Mountain cable car for a panoramic view of the city and surrounding forests. Enjoy free time for lunch, shopping, or simply relaxing at one of the terrace cafés in the Old Town. Evening at leisure to explore more of Bra?ov’s food and culture. Overnight stay in Bra?ov.
Day 05 : Departure from Bucharest or Bra?ov
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to either Bucharest International Airport or Bra?ov Train Station, depending on your onward travel plans. Depart with beautiful memories of Romania’s dramatic landscapes, legendary castles, and warm hospitality.
