Day 1 : Yangon Arrival

Upon arrival in Yangon International Airport, met & greeted by 99destinations Travel Tour Guide and transfer to hotel (Check in time is 14h00). Yangon is Myanmars largest and most commercially important city. Its downtown skyline is dominated by the winking wonder of Shwedagon Paya, a dazzling Buddhist temple that attracts pilgrims from all over the world. This afternoon, enjoy city tour of Yangon. Visit Sule Pagoda, a 2200-year-old temple and visit Mahabandoola Park, where Independent Monument exists. Time permitting, visit the Bogyoke Market, to shop for handicrafts and other goods (closed on Mondays and public holidays). Conclude the tour with a visit to the well-known, Shwedagon Pagoda. In the evening, you can opt to explore the colorful night market. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2 : Yangon Kyaikhtiyo

This morning, journey by road to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock. In the afternoon, arrive at Kyaikhtiyo base camp.
Travel by local open-air truck, to the junction camp to travel the final distance to Golden Rock on foot. After about one hour of trekking, reach the Golden Rock. A huge boulder covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff, Golden Rock is one of Myanmars main pilgrimage sites. Overnight in Kyaikhtiyo.

Day 3 : Kyaikhtiyo Bago Yangon

Today, return to the base camp by open-air truck and begin the return journey to Yangon. En-route, explore the town of Bago and learn about the history and myths of the city. Visit the 55-metre long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha, the four seated Buddhas at Kyaikpun and the old palace of Kambozathadi. Return to Yangon, with a brief stop in at the Allied War Cemetery in Htaukkyan. On arrival in Yangon, check in to your hotel.

Day 4 : Yangon Bagan By Flight (Excluded Airfare)

This morning, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bagan. On arrival, visit Nyaung Oo local Market, the golden Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi. Next, visit to a traditional lacquer ware workshop, Myanmars best-known handicrafts. Continue to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece and one of Bagans most beautiful temples. From here, travel by horse cart, passing Thatbyinnyu, the highest temple in Bagan, massive Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork and Sulamani Temple. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 5 : Bagan Popa Salay Bagan

Today, visit Mount Popa and Salay. Drive to Chauk local market, continue on to the village of Salay, an important Buddhist centre, and visit its famed wooden monastery with intricate carvings. (Salay monastery museum closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and public holidays). This afternoon, arrive at Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano standing 1518 metres high. Mt. Popa has played an important role in Myanmar culture, religion and history. In the late afternoon, drive back to Bagan and transfer to your hotel.

Day 6 : Bagan - Mandalay By Flight (Excluded Airfare)

Early morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to Mandalay. On arrival, proceed for an excursion to Amarapura. Visit Mahaganthayon monastery the largest teaching monastery in Myanmar. Daily at around 10:30 a.m. about 700 monks queue up for their last meal on this day. Then, enjoy the great serenity of U Bein wooden Bridge constructed in 1849 and about three quarter of a mile with 1086 posts and Taung- ta-man lake, an enchanting experience. Later, visit Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image, the most ancient Buddha image. Conclude the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill, the natural watch-tower to watch sunrise or sunset over the city plains. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 7 : Mandalay Ava Sagaing Mandalay

Begin your day with a visit to Shweinpin teak-wood monastery. Drive over 1 km long bridge across the Ayeyarwady River to Sagaing Hills - "Buddhists studies and a meditation centre of Myanmar", with numerous pagodas and over 600 monasteries and nunneries dotted along the Hills. See the U-Min Thounzeh (30 caves) with its 45 Buddha images in a crescent-shaped colonnade and the impressive 30 mts-high Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda, built in 1312 and home to large bronze frogs on wheels. Later, proceed to the nearby village of Ywahtaung, famous for its silverware. Drive back to Mandalay.

Day 8 : Mandalay Heho By Flight (Excluded Airfare) Pindaya Inle Lake

This morning, transfer to the airport and fly to Heho. Transfer from airport in Heho to hotel near Inle Lake, en route drive to Pindaya and Nyaung Shwe. On arrival, drive to Pindaya. Travel along the uphill and winding road over the Shan Plateau. Visit Pindaya cave, a huge cavern where hundreds and thousands of Buddha images in various size and shape are installed since the 11th century. Later, drive to Nyaung Shwe, the gate way of famous Inle Lake. Overnight in Inle Lake.

The next must see stop is Nag Phi Chaung Monastery, an attractive wooden monastery built on stilts over the lake at the end of the 1850s and where you can see the popular jumping cats leap through the hoops .You also have an option to see "Padaung" or "Long-neck Karen hill tribe". Conclude your tour with a visit to local silverware workshop. Overnight in Inle Lake.
