Day 01 : Arrival at Gozo – Welcome to Malta’s Tranquil Gem
Upon arrival at Malta International Airport, you will be transferred to the scenic island of Gozo via a short ferry ride from ?irkewwa. Gozo, the sister island of Malta, is known for its slower pace of life, rugged landscapes, and charming rural character. After checking in to your hotel, the day is free at leisure to relax or explore the surroundings. Enjoy your first evening with a stroll along Mgarr Harbour, and take in your first Gozitan sunset. Day 02 : Explore Western Gozo – Nature, Culture & Coastal Wonders
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of western Gozo. Begin with a visit to the iconic Dwejra Bay, home to dramatic sea cliffs, the Inland Sea, and the famous (though collapsed) Azure Window site. Continue to the Ta’ Pinu Basilica, a national shrine with awe-inspiring architecture and panoramic views. Enjoy lunch at a local farm-to-table restaurant, then head to G?arb and San Lawrenz villages for a taste of rural Gozitan life. End the day relaxing at Xlendi Bay, a quaint seaside village ideal for sunset views and seafood dining. Overnight stay in Gozo.
Day 03 : Discover Eastern Gozo – Ancient Temples & Hidden Beaches
Begin your day with a visit to the ?gantija Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s oldest freestanding structures. Continue to Ramla Bay, known for its unique red sand and calm waters, perfect for swimming or lounging. In the afternoon, explore the caves of Tal-Mixta, offering breathtaking aerial views of the coastline. Visit Calypso’s Cave, associated with Homer’s Odyssey. Later, stop at Nadur village for a panoramic lookout over Gozo’s countryside and valleys. Return to your hotel in the evening for leisure or optional local wine tasting. Overnight in Gozo.
Day 04 : Gozo to Victoria – Cultural Heart of the Island
Check out after breakfast and proceed to Victoria (Rabat), the capital of Gozo. Begin your exploration with a walk through the majestic Cittadella, a fortified city offering 360-degree views of the island. Visit the Gozo Cathedral, the Old Prison, and the Gozo Archaeology Museum. Enjoy lunch in a charming café within the city center. Spend the afternoon browsing local artisan shops and the daily open-air market in Independence Square. Evening is at leisure to enjoy the lively yet relaxed atmosphere of Victoria. Day 05 : Victoria – Departure from Gozo
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or a final walk through the historic alleys of Victoria. Later, transfer to Mgarr Harbour for your ferry back to Malta, and then onward transfer to Malta International Airportfor your departure. Depart with beautiful memories of Gozo’s timeless landscapes, cultural richness, and Mediterranean charm.
