Day 1 : Arrival in Madagascar – Welcome to Antananarivo
Upon arrival at Ivato International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel in Antananarivo, popularly known as “Tana.” After check-in and some relaxation, proceed for a light city orientation tour covering the historic Upper Town, the Queen’s Palace Rova of Antananarivo, and scenic viewpoints overlooking the city. Visit local markets to experience Malagasy culture, handicrafts, and cuisine. Enjoy a relaxed evening and overnight stay in Antananarivo.
Day 2 : Antananarivo to Andasibe National Park
After breakfast, drive east towards Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, a lush rainforest famous for its biodiversity. En route, stop at Marozevo Reptile Farm (also known as Peyrieras Reserve) to see chameleons, geckos, and other endemic species. Upon arrival in Andasibe, check in to your lodge and relax amidst nature. In the evening, embark on a guided night walk in the forest to spot nocturnal wildlife such as lemurs, frogs, and insects. Overnight stay near Andasibe.
Day 3 : Andasibe National Park Exploration – Lemurs & Rainforest (Local sightseeing)
After an early breakfast, head for a guided walk inside Analamazaotra Reserve, part of Andasibe National Park, known for the famous Indri Indri, the largest living lemur. Enjoy spotting various lemur species, exotic birds, orchids, and dense rainforest vegetation. Later, visit Vakona Private Reserve where you can closely interact with lemurs on Lemur Island. Continue exploring the surrounding rainforest trails and waterfalls. Return to the hotel for relaxation and enjoy the serene jungle ambiance. Overnight stay in Andasibe.
Day 4 : Andasibe to Antananarivo – Cultural & Leisure Day
Post breakfast, drive back to Antananarivo. Upon arrival, visit important cultural and historical landmarks including Ambohimanga, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing royal history and sacred traditions of Madagascar. Later, explore local artisan markets for souvenirs such as handmade crafts, vanilla, and spices. Enjoy a relaxed evening with optional Malagasy cultural performances or dining at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Antananarivo.
Day 5 : Departure from Antananarivo
YAfter breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Ivato International Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Madagascar, a land of unique wildlife, stunning rainforests, and rich cultural heritage.
