Day 01 : Arrival in Almaty – City Orientation

Upon arrival at Almaty International Airport, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some rest, begin your journey with an orientation tour of Almaty, Kazakhstan’s cultural capital. Drive through the elegant streets and wide boulevards of the city and visit Panfilov Park, home to the beautiful Zenkov Cathedral, a remarkable all-wooden Orthodox church. Pause at the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, dedicated to World War II heroes. Explore the lively Green Bazaar, where you’ll get a taste of local life and may sample regional snacks. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a traditional Kazakh restaurant. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 02 : Almaty – Medeo & Shymbulak – Kok-Tobe Hill

After breakfast, embark on a scenic excursion to Medeo Gorge, famous for the world’s highest outdoor speed skating rink. Surrounded by picturesque mountain scenery, Medeo is a great photo stop. Continue by cable car to Shymbulak Ski Resort, a premier alpine destination known for its ski slopes, hiking trails, and stunning views of the Tian Shan Mountains. Enjoy lunch at one of the mountaintop cafés or restaurants.

In the afternoon, return to the city and head up to Kok-Tobe Hill via cable car. This popular viewpoint offers panoramic cityscapes, quirky art installations like the Beatles monument, and a lively atmosphere with cafes and souvenir shops. Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 03 : Almaty – Kolsai Lakes via Charyn Canyon

After an early breakfast, check out and drive east towards the Kolsai Lakes, one of Kazakhstan’s most captivating natural wonders. En route, stop at the magnificent Charyn Canyon, often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of Central Asia.” Walk along the Valley of Castles, a labyrinth of dramatic rock formations carved by centuries of wind and water erosion.

Continue your journey to Saty village, the gateway to Kolsai Lakes, and check into a local guesthouse or eco-lodge. In the afternoon, explore Kolsai Lake 1, a peaceful alpine lake nestled among pine forests and mountain peaks. Enjoy a lakeside walk or optional horseback riding. Overnight stay in Kolsai.

Day 04 : Kolsai – Return to Almaty

Wake up to the fresh mountain air and enjoy a hearty local breakfast. Depending on your energy level and weather, you may take an optional morning hike or short visit to nearby Kaindy Lake, famous for its sunken forest – an otherworldly sight with submerged pine trees rising from turquoise water.Later, begin your return drive to Almaty, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. The evening is free for shopping, café-hopping, or enjoying Almaty’s vibrant nightlife. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 05 : Almaty – Big Almaty Lake – Departure

After breakfast and check-out, take a scenic half-day excursion to Big Almaty Lake, located about 25 km from the city in the Ile-Alatau National Park. This stunning alpine lake is known for its striking turquoise color, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and pristine forest. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, take photos, and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Later return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 06 : Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Almaty International Airport for your flight home, carrying unforgettable memories of Kazakhstan’s rich landscapes and warm hospitality.
