Day 01 : Arrival in Varna – Bulgaria’s Seaside Capital
Welcome to Bulgaria! Upon your arrival at Varna International Airport, our local representative will greet you and assist with hotel transfer. After check-in, begin your journey with a relaxing walk through the lush Sea Garden Park, the city’s beloved coastal promenade offering floral displays, sculptures, and stunning Black Sea views. Visit the striking Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral, one of Bulgaria’s largest and most iconic churches. In the evening, explore Varna’s beach promenade lined with restaurants, bars, and beach cafés. Enjoy a welcome seafood dinner by the sea. Overnight stay in Varna.
Day 02 : Day Trip to Nessebar – UNESCO Town
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Nessebar, a charming UNESCO World Heritage Site located on a rocky peninsula south of Varna. Often called the “Pearl of the Black Sea,” Nessebar offers a captivating blend of Byzantine churches, medieval ruins, and traditional wooden houses. Explore the Church of Christ Pantocrator, the Old Bishopric, and the Ethnographic Museum, and stroll along its narrow cobblestone lanes lined with local artisans, lace-makers, and pottery shops. After lunch at a seafront restaurant, enjoy some time by the harbor or beach before returning to Varna. Overnight stay in Varna.
Day 03 : Golden Sands & Beach Leisure
Today is your day to relax and unwind! After a leisurely breakfast, head to Golden Sands Beach, one of Bulgaria’s most popular seaside resorts, located just 18 km from Varna. Enjoy soft golden sands, warm waters, and plenty of beach activities. You can choose to swim, sunbathe, enjoy beach bars, or take part in optional water sports like parasailing, banana boating, or jet skiing. If you prefer a cultural touch, visit the nearby Aladzha Monastery, an ancient cave monastery nestled in a cliff. Return to Varna by evening. Overnight stay in Varna.
Day 04 : Burgas & Sozopol Coastal Charm
Check out after breakfast and travel south toward Burgas, Bulgaria’s vibrant port city. En route, stop at Pomorie for a short visit to the Salt Museum or try the famed Pomorie mud therapy (optional). Upon reaching Burgas, stroll through the expansive Sea Garden, a beautiful seaside park with cafes, art installations, and views over the bay. Continue to Sozopol, one of Bulgaria’s oldest coastal towns known for its bohemian charm, narrow streets, and ancient ruins. Visit the Southern Fortress Wall, Archaeological Museum, and dine at a clifftop restaurant with panoramic sea views. Overnight stay in Sozopol or Sunny Beach.
Day 05 : Sunny Beach – Free Day for Sun & Fun
Today is yours to enjoy the vibrant energy of Sunny Beach, Bulgaria’s most famous seaside resort. With miles of sandy beach and clear waters, it's perfect for relaxation or entertainment. Choose to laze under the sun, sip cocktails at a beach bar, or indulge in the many activities available – including water parks, shopping arcades, and nightlife. Optional excursions include a sunset catamaran cruise or a visit to the Action Aqua Park. This is your day to soak in the best of the Bulgarian Riviera. Overnight stay in Sunny Beach or nearby resort.
Day 06 : Departure from Burgas or Varna
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Burgas Airport or Varna Airport for your return flight. Depart with wonderful memories of Bulgaria’s sun-soaked coastline, historic towns, and vibrant beachside experiences.
