Perched dramatically on a cliff 900 meters above the valley floor, this sacred site is where Guru Rinpoche is said to have meditated after flying here on the back of a tigress. The hike is moderate and can take around 4–5 hours round trip, with ample time to admire the monastery and the breathtaking surroundings.
