Day 1 : Arrival in Agartala – Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Agartala Airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in.After a short rest, explore Ujjayanta Palace, the former royal palace of Tripura, now a museum showcasing the state’s rich history and culture.Visit Heritage Park, a beautifully landscaped garden representing the culture and heritage of Tripura.Explore the State Museum, which houses artifacts reflecting the art, culture, and archaeological heritage of Tripura.Overnight stay at the hotel in Agartala.
Day 2 : Agartala – Neermahal – Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast, visit Neermahal, the stunning ‘Water Palace’ situated in the middle of the Rudrasagar Lake. This palace offers a unique mix of Hindu and Mughal architecture and is a perfect spot for photography.Take a boat ride in Rudrasagar Lake, enjoying the scenic surroundings.Proceed to Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, home to various species of animals, including the famous spectacled langur. Explore the lake, botanical garden, and the zoo within the sanctuary.Return to Agartala in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Agartala – Unakoti
After breakfast, embark on a road trip to Unakoti (approximately 3 hours), a historic site famous for its ancient rock-cut sculptures of Hindu gods and goddesses, which date back to the 7th-9th century.Marvel at the giant rock relief of Lord Shiva and other magnificent carvings. Unakoti is a blend of religious significance and artistic wonder.Explore the area at leisure, taking in the ancient artistry and scenic beauty.Return to Agartala in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 4 : Agartala – Jampui Hills
After breakfast, drive to Jampui Hills (about 4-5 hours), the highest hill range in Tripura, known for its scenic beauty, pleasant weather, and orange orchards.Check in at your hotel or a local guesthouse.Spend the afternoon exploring the Eden Tourist Lodge, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.Visit local villages to experience the culture of the Mizo and Reang tribes, interact with the locals, and learn about their traditional lifestyle.In the evening, enjoy a peaceful sunset and the serene environment of Jampui Hills.Overnight stay in Jampui Hills.
Day 5 : Jampui Hills – Tripura Sundari Temple – Matabari
After breakfast, proceed to Udaipur (approx. 3 hours), known for the sacred Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. The temple is a significant pilgrimage site dedicated to Goddess Kali.After the temple visit, explore Matabari, a large and peaceful lake near the temple, popular for boating.Later, visit Gunabati Group of Temples, known for their architectural beauty and historical significance.Return to Jampui Hills for an overnight stay.
Day 6 : Jampui Hills – Chabimura – Udaipur
After breakfast, travel to Chabimura, known for its ancient rock carvings along the banks of the Gomati River. Take a boat ride to admire the carvings of Hindu deities on the cliffs, a unique and serene experience.Explore the natural beauty of the surrounding hills and rivers.Afterward, return to Udaipur for sightseeing. Visit the Bhubaneswari Temple, another historically significant temple in the region.Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 7 : Udaipur – Agartala – Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Agartala (approx. 1.5 hours).Depending on your flight schedule, you may visit Ravindra Kanan, a beautiful garden dedicated to the poet Rabindranath Tagore, or explore any final attractions in Agartala.Transfer to Agartala Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your Tripura tour.
