Day 1 : Arrival in Agartala – Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Agartala Airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in.After a short rest, explore Ujjayanta Palace, the former royal palace of Tripura, now a museum showcasing the state’s rich history and culture.Visit Heritage Park, a beautifully landscaped garden representing the culture and heritage of Tripura.Explore the State Museum, which houses artifacts reflecting the art, culture, and archaeological heritage of Tripura.Overnight stay at the hotel in Agartala.
Day 2 : Agartala – Neermahal – Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast, visit Neermahal, the stunning ‘Water Palace’ situated in the middle of the Rudrasagar Lake. This palace offers a unique mix of Hindu and Mughal architecture and is a perfect spot for photography.Take a boat ride in Rudrasagar Lake, enjoying the scenic surroundings.Proceed to Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, home to various species of animals, including the famous spectacled langur. Explore the lake, botanical garden, and the zoo within the sanctuary.Return to Agartala in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Agartala – Unakoti – Jampui Hills
After an early breakfast, drive to Unakoti (approx. 3 hours), a famous heritage site known for its ancient rock-cut sculptures and carvings of Hindu deities, dating back to the 7th-9th century.Spend time exploring the unique rock reliefs, including the giant statue of Lord Shiva.Continue to Jampui Hills (approx. 2 hours), the highest hill range in Tripura, offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys and Mizoram.Enjoy the serene atmosphere, beautiful orange orchards, and lush greenery of the hills.Return to Agartala in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 4 : Agartala – Tripura Sundari Temple – Chabimura
After breakfast, visit the Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and an important pilgrimage site dedicated to Goddess Kali.Proceed to Chabimura, known for its ancient rock carvings on the banks of the Gomati River. Take a boat ride to see the beautiful carvings of Hindu deities on the steep hillsides.Explore the scenic beauty of the area, surrounded by greenery and the peaceful river.Return to Agartala for your final evening and overnight stay.
Day 5 : Departure from Agartala
After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time in the morning. Depending on your flight schedule, you can explore the local markets and shop for bamboo handicrafts and Tripuri handloom products.Transfer to Agartala Airport for your onward journey.
