Day 1 : Arrival in Aizawl – Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Aizawl Airport (Lengpui Airport) and transfer to your hotel for check-in.After a short rest, explore Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram, known for its scenic beauty and vibrant culture.Visit the Solomon’s Temple, an impressive architectural structure and a peaceful spot for contemplation.Head to the KV Paradise, a mausoleum offering stunning panoramic views of Aizawl.In the evening, explore the local markets of Aizawl, such as Bara Bazar, where you can shop for traditional Mizo handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs.Overnight stay at the hotel in Aizawl.
Day 2 : Aizawl – Reiek Village – Reiek Tlang
After breakfast, drive to Reiek Village (about 1 hour), a picturesque Mizo village located on a hilltop. The village offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the Mizo people.Take a guided tour of Reiek Heritage Village, which showcases traditional Mizo homes, customs, and culture.Trek to Reiek Tlang (Reiek Peak), a scenic spot offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The trek is moderately easy and perfect for nature lovers.Enjoy the peace and tranquility at the peak and explore the nearby caves and natural beauty.Return to Aizawl in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Aizawl – Hmuifang Tlang
After breakfast, head to Hmuifang Tlang (about 2 hours), a beautiful hill station and one of the lesser-explored gems of Mizoram.En route, stop at Falkawn Village, a traditional Mizo village where you can learn about the Mizo lifestyle, history, and culture.Explore Hmuifang’s dense forests and enjoy the scenic beauty of the rolling hills and valleys. It’s a great place for trekking and photography.Visit the nearby Sialsuk Tlang, another scenic spot offering panoramic views of the region.Return to Aizawl for an overnight stay.
Day 4 : Aizawl – Tamdil Lake
After breakfast, take a day trip to Tamdil Lake (about 2 hours from Aizawl), a serene and picturesque lake surrounded by lush forests.Enjoy a boat ride on the calm waters of the lake and take in the peaceful ambiance.Explore the surrounding forest areas, which are home to various species of birds and wildlife, making it a great spot for nature lovers.After a relaxing day at the lake, return to Aizawl by evening.Overnight stay in Aizawl.
Day 5 : Departure from Aizawl
After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time in Aizawl. Depending on your flight schedule, you can visit Durtlang Hills to capture panoramic views of the city or explore more of Aizawl’s vibrant culture.Transfer to Aizawl Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your Mizoram trip.
