Day 01 : Rajkot – Somnath (200 km / Approx. 4.5 hours)
Upon arrival in Rajkot, you will be received by our representative and begin your journey toward the sacred town of Somnath. The drive takes you through scenic Saurashtra landscapes and traditional Gujarati countryside. Upon arrival in Somnath, check in at your hotel and relax. The evening is free to unwind or take a quiet stroll along the Arabian Sea coastline. You may also choose to visit the Somnath Temple for the evening aarti (subject to time of arrival). Overnight stay at the hotel in Somnath.
Day 02 : Somnath Sightseeing
After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in and around Somnath, one of the most revered Jyotirlingas in India. Begin with a visit to the Somnath Mahadev Temple, an architectural marvel standing as a symbol of resilience and devotion, located right by the sea. Continue to the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of three holy rivers – Hiran, Kapila, and Saraswati – where pilgrims perform sacred rituals. Visit Bhalka Tirth, believed to be the spot where Lord Krishna was struck by an arrow leading to his divine departure. Later, explore Gita Mandir, which showcases beautiful inscriptions of the Bhagavad Gita. In the evening, attend the mesmerizing sound and light show at the Somnath Temple that narrates its historic and mythological significance. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03 : Somnath Excursion & Sightseeing
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before heading out for an excursion to nearby attractions. You may start with a visit to Veraval, known for its ancient port and traditional boat-building yard where wooden fishing boats are still crafted by hand. Next, head to Dehotsarg Tirth, a sacred location linked with the final moments of Lord Krishna’s life. If time permits, you may also visit Panch Pandav Gufa, believed to be associated with the Pandavas from the Mahabharata. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax at the beach or revisit the Somnath temple for a second visit at your leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel in Somnath.
Day 04 : Somnath – Rajkot Drop (200 km / Approx. 4.5 hours)
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin your return journey to Rajkot. En route, enjoy the passing rural scenery and reflect on the divine and cultural experiences of your trip. Upon arrival in Rajkot, you will be dropped at your preferred location—airport, railway station, or hotel—for your onward journey with cherished memories of Somnath’s spiritual aura and coastal charm.
