Day 01 : Bhuj – Dhordo (White Rann of Kutch)
On arrival at Bhuj Railway Station or Bhuj Airport, guests are warmly received and transferred to the Rann Utsav Tent City at Dhordo, located on the edge of the world-famous White Rann of Kutch (approx. 85 km / 1.5–2 hours drive). En route, experience the changing landscape of Kutch’s vast plains. Upon arrival at the tent city, guests check in and are welcomed with refreshments. After enjoying a sumptuous lunch, the afternoon is free to explore the beautifully designed tent city, local handicraft stalls, art installations, and activity zones showcasing the vibrant culture of Kutch. In the evening, guests proceed to the White Rann, a spectacular salt desert, to witness a mesmerizing sunset, when the white salt turns golden and pink under the setting sun. The day concludes with a delicious dinner followed by captivating folk dance and cultural performances, offering an authentic taste of Kutchi traditions. Overnight stay at the Rann Utsav Tent City.
Day 02 : Rann Utsav Experience – Kala Dungar – Gandhi Nu Gaam
The day begins early with tea, followed by an optional visit to the White Rann for sunrise, a serene and unforgettable experience as the sun rises over the endless salt desert. After returning to the tent city, guests enjoy a hearty breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure to participate in various in-house activities such as camel rides, ATV rides, paramotoring (optional and chargeable), yoga sessions, shopping for local handicrafts, or simply relaxing and soaking in the festive atmosphere. After lunch, guests proceed for an excursion to Kala Dungar (Black Hill), the highest point in Kutch, offering panoramic views of the Great Rann and the Indo-Pakistan border region. The tour also includes a visit to Gandhi Nu Gaam, a reconstructed village showcasing traditional Kutchi houses, crafts, and rural lifestyle. In the evening, guests return to the tent city for dinner and enjoy another night of lively cultural programs and entertainment. Overnight stay at the tent city.
Day 03 : Dhordo – Bhuj Departure
After early morning tea and breakfast, guests check out from the tent city. The journey continues towards Bhuj with an en-route visit to Smritivan – The Earthquake Memorial Museum (subject to operational days), a world-class museum dedicated to the resilience of Kutch, offering panoramic views of Bhuj city from Bhujiyo Dungar. After the visit, guests are transferred to Bhuj Railway Station or Bhuj Airport for their onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of the White Rann, vibrant culture, and unique desert festival experience.
