Day 01 : Arrival at Ahmedabad – Drive to Pavagadh (Approx. 150 km / 3.5 hours)
Upon your arrival at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station, you will be received by our representative. After a brief welcome, begin your journey towards Pavagadh, located in the Panchmahal district, approximately 150 kilometers from Ahmedabad. The 3.5-hour scenic drive takes you through the heart of Gujarat’s countryside. On arrival, check in to your hotel near Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park. The evening is at your leisure to relax or take a short walk around the area. Overnight stay in Pavagadh.
Day 02 : Pavagadh Sightseeing
Enjoy a fulfilling breakfast at the hotel before starting your full-day sightseeing tour of Pavagadh and the UNESCO-listed Champaner Archaeological Park. Begin with a visit to the Mahakali Temple, perched atop the Pavagadh Hill, accessible by ropeway or a trek of around 2.5 km. This Shakti Peetha draws devotees from across the country and offers panoramic views of the plains below.
Descend and continue to explore the ruins of Champaner, an ancient capital built by Sultan Mahmud Begada. Key attractions include the Jami Masjid, one of the finest examples of Indo-Islamic architecture in India, known for its intricately carved mihrabs and minarets. Also visit Kevda Masjid, Nagina Masjid, Saat Kaman (Seven Arches), and other scattered tombs, stepwells, and fortifications within the park. The entire site is a blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural elements and remains a hidden gem for history lovers. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Pavagadh.
Day 03 : Pavagadh – Ahmedabad Drop (Approx. 150 km / 3.5 hours)
After a peaceful night’s rest, enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel. Post check-out, begin your drive back to Ahmedabad, covering the same 150 km stretch in approximately 3.5 hours. On arrival, you will be dropped at your preferred location—airport, railway station, or hotel—bringing your spiritually enriching and historically insightful journey to a pleasant close.
