Day 01 : Arrival at Ahmedabad

Upon arrival at Ahmedabad, the vibrant cultural capital of Gujarat, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the heritage-rich city including the Sabarmati Ashram, the residence of Mahatma Gandhi; the beautifully carved Adalaj Stepwell, and the striking Sidi Saiyyed Mosque known for its intricate latticework. In the evening, you may visit the Kankaria Lakefront or enjoy a walk through the bustling Law Garden Night Market. Overnight in Ahmedabad.

Day 02 : Ahmedabad – Little Rann of Kutch (90 km / 2 hrs)

AAfter breakfast, depart for the Little Rann of Kutch, a unique salt marsh known for its wildlife and surreal landscapes. Check into a wildlife resort near Dasada. In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling jeep safari in the Wild Ass Sanctuary, home to the endangered Indian Wild Ass (Khur) and many migratory birds such as flamingos and pelicans. Evening at leisure with a rustic village experience. Overnight stay in LRK.

Day 03 : Little Rann of Kutch – Bhuj (270 km / 5 hrs)

This morning, drive to the historic city of Bhuj, the gateway to the Rann of Kutch. Upon arrival, visit the Aina Mahal, Prag Mahal, and the Bhujodi village, known for traditional weaving and crafts. Time permitting, witness the beautiful sunset at Hamirsar Lake. Overnight in Bhuj.

Day 04 : Bhuj – Banni Area – Bhuj (86 km / 2 hrs round trip)

Today, embark on a full-day excursion to the Banni grasslands, a region rich in Kutchi culture and craftsmanship. Visit the artisan villages of Hodka, Dhordo, and Ludiya, famous for embroidery, leatherwork, and mud art (lippan). You may also enjoy panoramic views of the Great Rann of Kutch, a vast white desert landscape. Return to Bhuj by evening.

Day 05 : Bhuj – Lala Bustard Sanctuary – Bhuj (250 km / 5 hrs round trip)

Early morning drive to Lala Bustard Sanctuary, one of the last refuges of the endangered Great Indian Bustard. The sanctuary also hosts harriers, falcons, and other desert-dwelling birds and animals. Enjoy a guided nature walk or birdwatching session before returning to Bhuj for the night.

Day 06 : Bhuj – Jamnagar (270 km / 5 hrs)

Depart from Bhuj and drive to the historical city of Jamnagar, known for its palaces, temples, and marine biodiversity. On arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, visit Lakhota Lake and Lakhota Palace Museum, followed by a stroll through the vibrant local bazaars.

Day 07 : Jamnagar – Marine Sanctuary (By Road + Boat = 3 hrs)

Post breakfast, take a short drive and boat ride to the Marine National Park at Narara Island. Explore the intertidal zone during low tide, where you can spot corals, sea anemones, octopus, and a variety of marine life. Return to Jamnagar by afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 08 : Jamnagar Sightseeing

Today, enjoy a relaxed day of local sightseeing in Jamnagar. Visit the Bala Hanuman Temple, famous for its continuous chanting of the Ram Dhun since 1964. Also explore Pratap Vilas Palace, Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary (seasonal), and the local tie-dye (bandhani) workshops that reflect the city’s textile heritage.

Day 09 : Jamnagar – Gondal (140 km / 2.5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Gondal, a princely town known for its royal legacy and vintage car collection. Visit the majestic Naulakha Palace, Riverside Palace, and the private museum of the royal family that houses rare antiques, silverware, and classic cars. Enjoy an overnight stay in one of the heritage hotels.

Day 10 : Gondal – Sasangir (1a30 km / 2.5 hrs)

Depart from Gondal and proceed towards Sasan Gir, the only natural habitat of the Asiatic Lions. En route, you may stop at Junagadh to visit the Uparkot Fort and Ashokan Rock Edicts. Check into your jungle lodge or resort and relax for the evening in the midst of Gir’s wilderness.

Day 11 : Gir National Park

Today, go for an early morning jeep safari in Gir National Park, known for its diverse fauna including leopards, hyenas, jackals, and several species of birds. Later, visit the Interpretation Zone at Devaliya, an enclosed area that offers excellent sightings. You may also visit nearby tribal villages or relax at the resort.

Day 12 : Sasangir – Bhavnagar (240 km / 5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to the coastal city of Bhavnagar. Upon arrival, visit the Takhteshwar Temple perched on a hill offering panoramic views of the city, and the Barton Library, one of Gujarat’s oldest public libraries. Enjoy an evening walk along the Gaurishankar Lake.

Day 13 : Bhavnagar – Velavadar National Park (80 km / 5 hrs round trip)

Today, proceed to the Velavadar Blackbuck National Park, home to the elegant Indian blackbuck and a large population of harriers. Enjoy a guided wildlife safari in the park’s vast grasslands, which also attract wolves and foxes. Return to Bhavnagar in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 14 : Velavadar – Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary – Ahmedabad (200 km / 4 hrs)

Early morning, begin your return journey towards Ahmedabad, stopping en route at the Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary, a haven for migratory waterfowl. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride across the lake, observing flamingos, cranes, and pelicans in their natural habitat. Later, drive back to Ahmedabad for the final night stay.

Day 15 : Deprture

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, concluding your enriching and wildlife-filled tour of Gujarat.
