Day 01 : Arrival at Ahmedabad – Mahudi – Vadnagar – Taranga Hills (Approx. 160 km / 5 hours)
On arrival at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your journey into North Gujarat’s sacred heartland. Drive to Mahudi Jain Temple, one of the most revered Jain pilgrimage sites dedicated to Ghantakarna Mahavir. Continue to Vadnagar, an ancient town with Buddhist relics, Kirti Toran, and historic stepwells reflecting Gujarat’s glorious past. Later proceed to Taranga Hills, home to the beautifully carved Ajitnath Jain Temple, set amidst scenic forested hills. Check in at your hotel near Taranga/Kumbhariya region. Overnight stay.
Day 02 : Taranga – Kumbhariyaji – Shamlaji Temple – Ahmedabad (Approx. 200 km / 6 hours)
After breakfast, visit the exquisite Kumbhariyaji Jain Temples, a cluster of intricately carved marble shrines dedicated to Lord Mahavir, showcasing Solanki-era architecture. Proceed towards the serene Shamlaji Temple, an important Vaishnav pilgrimage nestled amid forested hills, known for its spiritual ambience and architectural beauty. After darshan, return to Ahmedabad by evening. Check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Day 03 : Ahmedabad – Bhavnagar (Approx. 170 km / 4 hours)
Post breakfast, depart for Bhavnagar, a coastal city rich in royal heritage and spiritual significance. En route, enjoy views of rural Gujarat and traditional landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, explore local markets or enjoy a peaceful walk along the city promenade. Overnight stay in Bhavnagar.
Day 04 : Bhavnagar – Palitana – Bhavnagar (Approx. 110 km / 4 hours)
Early morning, proceed to Palitana, one of the holiest Jain pilgrimage destinations in the world. Visit the sacred Shatrunjaya Hill, home to over 800 exquisitely carved marble temples. Devotees may choose to climb the steps or take a doli to reach the summit. After darshan and spiritual time, return to Bhavnagar by evening. Overnight stay in Bhavnagar.
Day 05 : Bhavnagar – Gondal – Somnath (Approx. 240 km / 6 hours)
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Gondal, a former princely state. Visit the grand Naulakha Palace and Swaminarayan Temple, reflecting royal elegance and devotion. Continue the journey to Somnath, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, attend Somnath Temple Aarti and enjoy the soul-stirring light and sound show narrating the temple’s timeless history. Overnight stay in Somnath.
Day 06 : Somnath – Dwarka (Approx. 235 km / 6 hours)
Begin the day with early morning darshan at Somnath Temple. Later drive towards Dwarka, the legendary kingdom of Lord Krishna. En route, enjoy scenic coastal stretches of Saurashtra. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Dwarkadhish Temple for darshan and participate in the evening aarti, soaking in the divine atmosphere. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
Day 07 : Dwarka Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day exploration of Dwarka. Visit Bet Dwarka, believed to be Lord Krishna’s original residence, accessible by boat. Continue to Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Later, visit Rukmini Devi Temple and enjoy the serene coastal views at Gomti Ghat. Return to the hotel by evening. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
Day 08 : Dwarka – Ahmedabad Departure (Approx. 440 km / 9 hours)
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Ahmedabad. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, concluding your spiritually enriching Sacred Gujarat Heritage Trail, filled with devotion, history, and cultural splendor.
