Diu & Daman - 7 Days

Day 01 : Arrival at Ahmedabad – Drive to Diu (Approx. 370 km / 7-8 hours)

On arrival at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative and driven to the beautiful coastal town of Diu. The journey offers glimpses of Gujarat's countryside, with fields, small towns, and village life unfolding along the way. Upon reaching Diu, check in at your hotel and relax. In the evening, you may take a leisurely walk by Nagoa Beach and enjoy the calm Arabian Sea. Overnight stay in Diu.

Day 02 : Diu Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Diu, a former Portuguese colony rich in history and coastal charm. Visit the majestic Diu Fort, an impressive 16th-century fort overlooking the sea, followed by a spiritual stop at St. Paul’s Church, a masterpiece of baroque architecture. Explore the serene Naida Caves, known for their naturally formed rock formations, and the Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, where Shiva lingas are washed by ocean waves. Later, unwind at Jallandhar Beach or explore Diu Museum, which houses artifacts from the Portuguese era. Overnight stay in Diu.

Day 03 : Diu – Bhavnagar (Approx. 220 km / 5 hours)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Bhavnagar, a city known for its royal heritage and spiritual significance. En route, you may take an optional detour to Palitana (subject to time), famous for the Shatrunjaya Hill Temples, a major Jain pilgrimage site with over 800 temples on a hilltop. On arrival in Bhavnagar, check in at your hotel. Later, visit the elegant Takhteshwar Temple, offering panoramic views of the city, and take a walk around Gaurishankar Lake, a peaceful urban oasis. Overnight stay in Bhavnagar.

Day 04 : Bhavnagar – Daman (Approx. 580 km / 10-11 hours)

After an early breakfast, begin your long but scenic drive towards Daman, a coastal union territory known for its beaches and colonial remnants. The journey traverses through the heart of Gujarat, passing by towns such as Surat and Valsad. On arrival in Daman, check into your hotel and relax after the long drive. You may choose to enjoy a quiet evening walk at Devka Beach or savor local seafood at a beachfront café. Overnight stay in Daman.

Day 05 : Daman Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the highlights of Daman, starting with Fort of Moti Daman, a massive fortification built by the Portuguese with a lighthouse and cathedral inside. Continue to Bom Jesus Church, an important 17th-century structure reflecting classic Iberian architecture. Visit the quaint Dominican Monastery ruins and relax at the sun-kissed Jampore Beach. Daman’s charm lies in its blend of history and natural beauty, and the day ends with a peaceful evening by the sea. Overnight stay in Daman.

Day 06 : Daman – Silvassa (Approx. 30 km / 1 hour)

After a relaxed morning, drive to Silvassa, the capital of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and proceed for sightseeing. Begin with a visit to the tranquil Vanganga Garden, ideal for nature lovers. Then explore the Tribal Cultural Museum, which gives insight into the region’s indigenous heritage. You can also visit Hirwa Van Garden, known for its fountains and landscaped beauty, and end the day with a boat ride at Dudhni Lake, often called the “Kashmir of the West.” Overnight stay in Silvassa.

Day 07 : Silvassa – Ahmedabad Departure (Approx. 380 km / 7-8 hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Ahmedabad, the bustling capital of Gujarat and a city steeped in culture and history. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you return to where your journey began. On arrival in Ahmedabad, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying with you fond memories of a diverse and enchanting coastal tour.
