Day 01 : Arrival at Ahmedabad
Upon arrival at Ahmedabad, the vibrant commercial and cultural capital of Gujarat, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and freshening up, begin exploring the city’s rich architectural and cultural heritage. Visit the beautifully carved Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, known for its intricate stone latticework. Proceed to the Sabarmati Ashram, the serene riverside retreat of Mahatma Gandhi. Later, admire the stepwell architecture of Adalaj Vav, followed by a walk along the Riverfront. If time permits, enjoy a traditional Gujarati thali for dinner. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Day 02 : Ahmedabad – Jambughoda (Approx. 180 km / 4.5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Jambughoda, a serene forested region known for its tribal culture and natural beauty. En route, stop at Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Jama Masjid, stepwells, and other historic ruins scattered across this medieval city. Continue onward to Jambughoda. On arrival, check in to a heritage stay or eco-resort nestled amidst the forest. Later, enjoy a short nature walk or visit nearby tribal villages to experience the local lifestyle. Dinner and overnight stay in Jambughoda.
Day 03 : Jambughoda – Utelia (Approx. 200 km / 5 hrs)
This morning, after a relaxed breakfast, depart for Utelia, a small village known for its royal heritage and rustic charm. Drive through scenic countryside as you pass through quaint villages. On arrival in Utelia, check in to the heritage Utelia Palace, an Indo-European mansion offering an immersive experience of princely Gujarat. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Lothal Archaeological Site, one of the prominent cities of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization. Explore the ruins of dockyards, drains, and the museum displaying ancient artifacts. Return to the palace for an authentic dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 : Utelia – Bhavnagar (Approx. 140 km / 3.5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to the coastal town of Bhavnagar, known for its vibrant bazaars and colonial-era architecture. En route, visit Velavadar Blackbuck National Park (if timing permits), a grassland ecosystem famous for the endangered blackbuck antelope and birdwatching. On arrival in Bhavnagar, check in to your hotel. In the evening, visit Takhteshwar Temple, offering panoramic views of the city. Later, enjoy local markets or a quiet walk by Gaurishankar Lake. Overnight stay in Bhavnagar.
Day 05 : Excursion to Palitana (Approx. 110 km round trip / 3 hrs)
Early in the morning, set out for Palitana, the holiest pilgrimage site for Jains. Climb or take a doli ride up Shatrunjaya Hill, where over 860 intricately carved marble Jain temples await at the summit. The spiritual atmosphere and panoramic views make this an unforgettable experience. After spending time exploring the temple complex, descend and return to Bhavnagar. Spend the evening at leisure or enjoy a quiet cultural evening at your hotel. Overnight stay in Bhavnagar.
Day 06 : Bhavnagar – Gondal (Approx. 180 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed towards Gondal, a princely town steeped in Rajput history. On arrival, check in at the charming Orchard Palace or Riverside Palace, both part of the royal family's heritage properties. Visit the Naulakha Palace, which houses a unique collection of royal artifacts, silverware, vintage cars, and textiles. Don’t miss the Royal Garage, which features an impressive collection of classic and vintage automobiles. Enjoy traditional hospitality and royal cuisine. Overnight stay in Gondal.
Day 07 : Gondal – Wankaner (Approx. 100 km / 2.5 hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Wankaner, another historic princely state known for its palaces and architectural grandeur. Upon arrival, check in at the Royal Oasis or Ranjit Vilas Palace, each offering a glimpse into regal life. Visit the Wankaner Palace Museum, filled with royal heirlooms, and explore the local markets for handcrafted items and textiles. Enjoy the tranquility of the palace gardens or opt for a countryside walk. Dinner and overnight stay in Wankaner.
Day 08 : Wankaner – Ahmedabad (Approx. 210 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to Ahmedabad, concluding your royal and cultural journey through Gujarat. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for personal exploration or last-minute shopping. You can visit the Calico Museum of Textiles (with prior booking), or take a heritage walk in the old city to explore pols (traditional housing clusters) and old havelis. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Day 09 : Departure from Ahmedabad
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Depart with wonderful memories of Gujarat’s regal past, vibrant culture, and timeless traditions.
