Classic Chhattisgarh – 7 Days

Day 1 : Arrival in Raipur

Arrive at Raipur Airport or Raipur Railway Station.On arrival meet & greet at the airport/station and transfer to the hotel. Check in and get fresh up and later Visit Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum.Explore this museum to get a glimpse of Chhattisgarh's rich cultural and historical heritage, including tribal artifacts and ancient relics. Visit Swami Vivekananda Sarovar (Buddha Talab), a beautiful lake and recreational area ideal for evening strolls. Visit Purkhauti Muktangan,A cultural village showcasing the tribal heritage of Chhattisgarh through sculptures, tribal houses, and handicrafts.Later return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at Raipur.

Day 2 : Raipur to Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary

Today morning after breakfast Check out from the hotel and drive to Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary (approx. 2-3 hours). Arrive at the sanctuary and check in to an eco-friendly lodge.Later Visit Wildlife Safari.Embark on an afternoon safari to spot various animals like leopards, sloth bears, bison, and a variety of bird species. Relax in the serene natural surroundings of the sanctuary.Later return back to the Lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3 : Barnawapara to Jagdalpur

Today after breakfast, Check out and drive to Jagdalpur (approx. 5-6 hours), the cultural heart of Bastar.En route, visit Sirpur, an ancient site famous for its temples, monasteries, and historical ruins, particularly the Laxman Temple. Continue the drive to Jagdalpur and on arrival check in to the hotel.Later Visit Bastar Palace, explore the palace and learn about the history of the Bastar royal family and its rich cultural legacy.Later return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at Jagdalpur.

Day 4 : Chitrakote Falls & Tirathgarh Falls

Today after breakfast, Visit Chitrakote Falls Known as the "Niagara of India," this massive waterfall is the widest in the country. You can enjoy a boat ride on the river if water levels permit. Visit Tirathgarh Falls A stunning multi-tiered waterfall located within Kanger Valley National Park. It's a great spot for picnicking and photography. Explore the Kanger Valley National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and wildlife, including tigers, leopards, and many species of birds.Later retutn back to the hotel for an overnight stay at Jagdalpur.

Day 5 : Kanger Valley National Park & Caves Exploration

After breakfast, proceed for exploration of the Kutumsar Caves Famous for their stalactite and stalagmite formations, these limestone caves are a major attraction within Kanger Valley National Park.Visit Dandak Caves,Another intriguing cave system within the park, known for its prehistoric significance and beautiful rock formations. Wildlife Safari or Nature Walk,Take a guided tour or safari to explore the park further and witness its flora and fauna. Visit Kanger Dhara for a peaceful view of the river and surrounding forested area.Later return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at Jagdalpur.

Day 6 : Tribal Culture Exploration & Visit to Bastar Villages

Today after breakfast, Visit Tribal Villages,Take a guided tour to Bastar’s tribal villages to experience the culture of indigenous communities like the Gond, Maria, and Muria tribes. Interact with the locals, learn about their unique traditions, and observe their craft-making techniques (e.g., Dhokra metal craft, bell metalwork, and terracotta art). Continue exploring tribal markets and buy authentic handicrafts directly from artisans. Attend a Tribal Dance Performance,If possible, arrange or attend a local event featuring famous Bastar tribal dances, like the Gaur Maria dance.Later return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at Jagdalpur.

Day 6 : Jagdalpur to Raipur & Departure

Today after breakfast, Check out from the hotel and drive back to Raipur (approx. 5-6 hours). En route, visit Narayanpur, a town known for its handicrafts, including metalwork, terracotta, and tribal jewelry. You can also explore the Narayanpur Haat, a local craft market. Arrive in Raipur and, if time permits, explore the Magneto Mall or City Center Mall for some last-minute shopping. Head to Raipur Airport or Raipur Railway Station for your departure.
